Multi-layered and complex with brilliant blackberry, blueberry, floral, mint and spice aromas that follow through to the palate, with racy, firm, yet silky tannins, incredible depth and balance and a long, long finish. Amazing now after being decanted for several hours, but will just get better with 5 more years to evolve. A bargain for Barbaresco. (GB - Tidings, November 2011)
Fabulous velvety tannins and purity of fruit showing blueberries, plums and raspberries with hints of fresh roses. Full-bodied, with an amazing concentration and a finish that goes on and on and on. Ultrarich tannins, great balance and complexity. (GB - Tidings, September 2010)
Dark ruby red in colour with lovely aromas of blackberry, wild strawberry, and flowers. Full-bodied, with ultra-refined tannins and a long, long finish. Wonderfully balanced, with a beautiful texture. Still needs time and it will get better and better. (GB - Tidings, September 2010)
Loads of crushed berries, with hints of roses. Full-flavoured and intense, with wonderful penetrating orange peel and dark chocolate character, loads of complexity, multi-layers, chewy tannins and a long, long finish. Built to age. Fantastic! (GB - Tidings, May 2011)
