Rich and austere with ripe stone fruits and minerally aromas and flavours, great structure with a firmness that should become more approachable with a few more years in the bottle. The finish is long and well-integrated. Oysters Rockefeller would be a great match. (GB - Tidings, August 2010)
Rich, approachable, and supple with ripe citrus, spice and a touch of herbs and honey nicely balanced with the accessible structure. The mineral character follows through on the finish. Good acidity to cut through slightly creamy sauces. Coquille St. Jacques comes to mind. (GB - Tidings, August 2010)
